Today we saw a great example of the power of social media and Deadmu5′s never ending desire to keep his musical process as transparent with his fans as possible. A quick conversation between the two legendary producers regarding Armin’s play of one of Deadmau5′s latest tracks on ASOT shortly lead to open talks of a collaboration between the two. Deadmau5 then proceeded to upload multiple files containing some melody work and tweet the links for Armin to then work on. Say what you want about Deadmau5 but not many people can say that it isn’t exciting to see such an open collaboration process between two producers of their caliber.
