Wow! Industry legends Black Sun Empire have released yet another drum & bass masterpiece with the album From The Shadows. How they manage to remain so low-key about their new albums is beyond me, because you’d expect the whole EDM world to be talking about this absolutely epic release. Clocking in at over a whopping 3 hours (one of which is dedicated completely to a continuous mix), this album has Black Sun Empire on point at all times – killing it with that beautiful brain-crushing bass and sharp, polished drum loops. Cesar Vilo – La Karabina Remixes 2012

Cesar Vilo is somewhat of a mystery; aside from a Soundcloud page, it is nearly impossible to find information about this Mexican house producer. That’s what makes a release like La Karabina such a welcome discovery. This infectious house track hangs with the best recent EDM offerings – it’s fun, exotic, and the production is expertly done. This 2012 rework of “La Karabina” was released today on Beatport, along with a number of house-based remixes. We’ve included the original rework below along with the Jose Spinnin Cortes Dub remix, which replaces the crazy, Latin party vibe of the original with a deep, punchy sound that is just screaming for play in the clubs. It’s refreshing to hear a producer’s remix of their own  track that annihilates their initial production, and the R3hab & ZROQ remix of You’ll Be Mine is a prime example of just that.  R3hab in collaboration with ZROQ have taken the original house track and transformed it into an electro banger. Havana Brown’s vocals lull you into a false sense of house, building up quickly, and then dropping into robotic, electro filth that will catch you entirely off guard. Escape From Wonderland 2012 Lineup Announced!

THIS JUST IN: The lineup for Escape from Wonderland 2012 has been announced! It will take place at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino on Saturday, October 27th, 2012. Standouts include Fake Blood, Calvin Harris, Loco Dice, Martin Solveig, Laidback Luke, Michael Woods, Nervo, Rebecca & Fiona (the girls featured on a lot of Tiesto’s tracks), Sander Van Doorn, Steve Angello, Thomas Gold, & Trent Cantrelle.
