With so many amazing club nights to pick from on the Island this season it may seem a bit harder to push your way to the top and give people a reason to drop 40+ euros at the door, but Jamie Jones and his slew of amazing artists he has brought on this season to give us ‘Hot Creations Presents: Paradise’ every Thursday at DC10 has done just that.
Names like Maceo Plex, Miguel Campbell, Soul Clap, Fur Coat, Art Department and many more will all be supporting Jamie Jones this summer and we were lucky enough to catch one of these amazing nights on August 2nd which featured the likes of Fur Coat, Wolf & Lamb, Luke Solomon and of course Jamie Jones himself.
We arrived just after 1 and were greeted with an already stacked room of hardstepping house lovers. We took a moment to gather ourselves than pushed our way through the crowd to get a good view. Luke Solomon and Wolf & Lamb did a perfect job warming the crowd up and getting the crowd buzzing, but it was Fur Coat that set the night off for us. As they kicked off their set the energy shifted for the better as they dropped hard hitting favorites like ‘You and I’ as the crowd packed in tight while the atmosphere was second to none. Jamie Jones came on after Fur Coat to round out the evening at just past 4 or so and took the momentum Fur Coat had been building and took it to the next level. Laying out crowd favorites and lesser known tracks, he played an amazingly well put together set that kept the place packed tight right up to closing.
Jamie Jones night ‘Paradise’ is surely a crowd and personal favorite and we are more than excited to see what he pulls out next year (lets get that terrace filled)
A Thank You to the Hot Creations team and Jamie Jones management for making this night possible and we hope to be back soon!
