20 year old DJ and producer, Austin Kane, better known as TheDark, has just released this self titled EP titled I Am TheDark, available for free on his Soundcloud account. Based in Portland, Oregon, the young up and comer shows major potential. These three tracks, titled ‘Fan Death’, ‘Sleep Paralysis’, and ‘Thinking Machines’, truly illustrate his ability to create a monstrously eerie vibe. Respectively, the bass on these is not to be reckoned with, so in order to truly appreciate the EP, I suggest throwing on a nice pair of headphones, or blasting your sound system. Enjoy!
