AN21 & Max Vangeli give us the first taste off their highly anticipated album, People Of The Night. The first preview they give us is a collaboration with AN21′s older brother and Swedish house original don, Steve Angello. The track, ‘H8RS’ is a dark distorted track with grinding leads, wobbles heavy bass lines that might not be what you were expecting from the duo. This gritty feel reminds me a bit of Alesso’s heavier work. It will be very interesting to see how the rest of the album unfolds. We will keep you posted with news on the release. Enjoy!

The Underground: Weekly Top Five
Welcome to the first edition of The Underground, where we will cover new music ranging from deep house, tech house, techno, and electronica. For this edition I will be featuring five tracks handpicked by myself for standing out amongst the latest sea of releases.
Note: It is recommended to listen with headphones or quality speakers, your laptop speakers just won’t cut it for these.

Tennis aka Manfredi Romano is the head of the label and collective known as Life & Death (along with Thugfucker’s Greg Oreck) that has been taking the world by storm recently. With his newest EP “Make It Good”, Tennis has proved himself as one of the best producers in the game. I chose this track off of the EP because of its deep and powerful bassline along with the haunting vocals by Jeppe Kjellberg of WhoMadeWho that combine to create some of the most emotionally powerful music I’ve ever heard. Simply put this is one of the best tracks I have heard all year.

A.N.D.Y. & Vicente – El Barrio (Jay Lamar & Jesse Oliver Remix)

A.N.D.Y. & Vicente’s original track “El Barrio” leaves no room for criticism, but Jay Lamar and Jesse Oliver’s brand new remix provides an exhilarating amount of funk. This track proves to be one of the grooviest beats I’ve heard recently within a rising genre called nu disco. The track prides itself off a smooth, nostalgic bassline with a splash of modern day EDM to blast the listener with an epic tune perfect for a party, time in the office, or stylish walk down the street. Enjoy!

Cyberpunkers – Dungeon (Far Too Loud Remix)

Signed to the award-winning Funkatech records, Oli Cash aka Far Too Loud, continues his streak of electro house bangers with the madness that is his latest remix to Cyberpunkers’ “Dungeon”. His synthy builds and wobbly drops have been keeping heads steadily bobbing for just a few years now, even though his style reflects that of a veteran. If you like what you hear, be sure to check back for more tunes from this promising young producer, for he is one of my personal favorites.

Dyro & Loopers – Monster Talk [Preview]

One of our favorite new artists, Dyro, has joined forces with 19 year old prodigy, Loopers, to create this electro house banger titled, “Monster Talk”. Upon its release to Mix Mash records, it will be no surprise when the song speeds up the Beatport charts. This track features a hard bassline and chainsaw sounds similar to R3hab, yet keeps its own individuality with sudden breakdowns and flangered effects. Be sure to check back in on May 17 for the official release!
