On a nice May evening in the San Fernando Valley Region of Los Angeles nearly 2,000 fans gathered on a “secret” video location to be an extra in Deadmau5 new video that should be released in the next month, and no, it is not “The Veldt”. it’s actually for the track “Professional Griefers”. The video is based on two controlled robots fighting each other with a chaotic ending. The mau5 himself declared, “This video will have the best CGI you have ever seen in a music video.” The CGI will be mostly dedicated to the “transformer like robots” that will battle each other throughout the video. Also unveiling a brand new Mau5head that left the crowd with their mouth wide open which should make its debut in the video.
Co- staring in the video was Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance. Hanging around the set was SOFI, Le Castle Vania, and Chris James who does the vocals on the The Veldt. Fans raged from 5pm-3am with Joel being on set slamming Coronas and interacting with the crowd nearly the whole time. Keep your eyes and ears open for the release of this video, it should be one for the record books. “We are making history you f**kers”, was the final quote from the Mau5 before the extras left the set.
