Interview: Archie

Hailing from Moscow, Russia, Archie (formerly known as Archie V) has been making huge moves in the EDM scene lately with a solid track list of progressive and electro house anthems. At such a young age, Archie has already been compared to EDM icons such as Avicii and Alesso, but proves time and time again that he bring something new and unique to the table. Pumping out songs quicker than you can click refresh on his Soundcloud, it is safe to say this up and comer will soon be a huge name in the industry. What’s up Archie, thanks for doing an interview with us today, we are every excited to have the opportunity to talk to you. So, let us begin- how old are you?

I am 20 years of age. Day of birth at March 8 1992

 

I see that your first Soundcloud upload was only a few months ago but there is no way I can believe you have only been producing for such a little amount of time, so my question is how long have you been producing music?

I have been producing for almost 6 years now.

 

I see that one of your most recent tracks “Leto” has gotten over 40,000 plays. Are you exited to see so much support from your fans?

Man! The fans are the best fans! They love my music and I love them sharing it with the world. I just put out another track featuring Anna Yvette!

 

 

What made you want to start producing?

I love melodies. And I love seeing peoples dance to big melodies.

 

What’s your favorite part about producing music?

It has to be the melodies. I LOVE MELODIES!

 

 

What kind of programs are you using?

FL Studio + Many plugins, like many other people.

 

Who would you say is your favorite producer?

Man I like all good music. Can’t decide on one favorite. Ingrosso, Axwell, SHM, Avicii, Deadmau5, Guetta, Romero, Dada, Thomas Gold.  There are so many list of nice guys. Even smaller one like Arty, Third Party. There is lot of talent.

 

 

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Art, other music, movies, anything maybe just making a melody. And Something click.

 

What do you want to accomplish in 2012?

I want to be on a big tour, and I want for everyone to hear my music.

 

Do you have any tours lined up?

Maybe! You will have to wait to find out :)
