Wobble Wednesday: Knife Party – Centipede (Original Mix)

Whether you were streaming from the comforts of your bed or engulfed in the massive energized crowds of Ultra, you can recall Knife Party dropping their new and unreleased track ‘Centipede’ towards the second half of their mind-blowing set. I could honestly say the beginning did build me up to be a bit apprehensive about this track solely because the movie The Human Centipede is all that comes to mind every time I hear the word ‘centipede’. Luckily though, those images were quickly washed away as the track progressive with his heavy and hard bass lines and Skrillex-esque drops. Track by track, Knife Party has done nothing but keep us on our toes and continues to take 2012 by storm.

Wobble Wednesday: Liquid Stranger & Excision – Get to the Point (Cyberoptics Remix) [Free Download]

Cyberoptics aka Alex Epps is a 21 year old producer based out of Huntington Beach, CA. Hailing from Memphis TN, Cyberoptics is greatly influenced by the dirty south but also the wide varieties of electronic music as well. With a unique style of different themes, deep sludge bass and heavy sub, it’s almost impossible not to move your body to these alien sounding bass tones! He has had his music released on various notable record labels, but is most well known for being a key member of the Play Me Records family. Currently Cyberoptics is hard at work on a full length album, touring with Play Me heroes Reid Speed & FS, and working closely with other producers such as Liquid Stranger, D-Jahsta, Adroa, Phrenik, and Quartus Saul.

Sander Van Doorn feat. Mayaeni – Inside (Preview)

Following the recent release of ‘Chasin’, Sander Van Doorn gives us ‘Inside’. Mayaeni gives us an incredibly passionate vocal which leads into Sander’s massive anthemic chord progression. This track is sure to be an Ibiza anthem this summer. ‘Inside’ will be released via Doorn Records soon.

Simon Patterson – So What (Original Mix)

British DJ/Producer Simon Patterson is most notorious for his production of hard techno and trance; however, the veteran DJ strays far from the norm in his latest release, “So What.” Implementing much more cuts, bends, and a much softer sound, Patterson creates a universal club-ready trance/house track that is more suitable to the larger electronic music fan base. The track’s melodic verses deceive the massive drop in the chorus, which ultimately creates a highly energetic track. This release truly demonstrates Simon Patterson’s versatility and skill as a producer. Turn your speakers up and enjoy!

David Guetta – Nothing But The Beat, The Movie [Free Download]

No matter how our conflicting views of David Guetta may effect how we portray the man, there is no doubt that he has had a tremendous impact on Electronic Dance Music as a whole. Guetta has single handedly bridged the gap to mainstream and paved a way for other artists like himself who simply are trying to find the best way to have their music be heard. Though he already released his double album “Nothing But The Beat” back in August, his strictly Electronic tunes were specially released just yesterday. And if that wasn’t enough for you, Guetta’s similarly titled documentary is available to download for FREE on iTunes! It gives some very good perspective on key aspects and issues within the industry and is definitely worth checking out. Download it yourself here!
