Wobble Wednesday: Tantrum Desire – Reach (Original Mix)

One of Drum n’ Bass’s biggest up and comers from the UK is Tantrum Desire, who has been topping the DnB charts with “Reach”, a track which focuses primarily on female vocals over a breakbeat similar to the likes of Sub Focus or Spor. The breakdown synths gradually introduce wider and more intricate melodic structures to the mix with the drum component. Extensive use and modulation of delay times and feedback on the vocals produces an ambient room reverb, pushing the vocals further to the front of the mix. Since being signed to Technique Recordings, Jay Faleye has remixed tracks from artists such as Shock One, Futurebound, and Laidback Luke.
